As a reminder, any party or other function held at the Beach or Beach House by any LHPOA member in good standing (or group of members acting in concert) may not exceed more than 12 guests who are non-members of LHPOA. In accordance, only two tables may be reserved and only on the day of the function. Please reserve your date on the LHPOA calendar which is located on the beach house bulletin board. This rule applies for all months of the year and all days of the week. Written approval will be necessary for all parties/functions of 12 or more and all children's parties. The host will submit a written request to the beach chairperson and will receive written confirmation. The beach chairperson will then mark the calendar. A life guard must be present at all children's parties. The host will be responsible for additional lifeguards if necessary. Remember that the Beach House is for the use of all our neighbors so please clean up after your gathering so the area can be enjoyed by the next neighbor. It is NOT the beach Caretaker's responsibility to clean up after you. Please be considerate. A copy of the beach rules are also posted on the bulletin during the season for your reference.

Please review the village ordinance in reference to operation of construction and machinery during the week and weekends. Take note that the hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm, on Sunday the operation of construction equipment is prohibited, however homeowners may operate landscaping equipment between 10am and 3pm.

We again would like to make a special request to all dog owners. Dogs are not allowed over the bridge from May to September. Please be courteous and attentive to your pet. For the safety of all our neighbors and the cleanliness of your neighbors' property, please be aware of your dog's presence at all times.

We request that all community members and their guests drive cautiously on Lattingtown Road and throughout the community. School is in session and many members walk through the community. The community speed limit is 25 mph. Slow down!

We look forward to seeing you on the 27th and wish everyone, a happy, safe and enjoyable summer!
